Company HistoryAn Australian company, founded in 1982, Key Plastics was purchased in 1988 by Milnes Holdings Ltd whose major shareholders are actively involved in the management of the company. Originally producing plastic plumbing fittings at its Moorebank site, the company entered the PVC pipe manufacturing field in 1993 with the acquisition of the General Plastics pipe plant at Minto in NSW. This plant was completely redesigned and new equipment installed to bring it to world-class manufacturing standards. In August 1999 the Moulding and Administration operations were relocated to a new purpose built facility at Minto adjacent to the Extrusion operations. |
